Mirror Docs
The Mirror Dinghy is a popular small sailing dinghy that originated in the UK in the 1960s, known for its simplicity, stability, and versatility.
It was designed for both racing and cruising, with a length of 10 feet 10 inches and a weight of around 100 pounds.
Unfortunately due to its age the
original instructions
are quite dated and have never been updated. A few websites sprung up in the 2000s detailing their experience building the mirror, the best of which are:
- Constructing a Mirror Dinghy by Neil Marriott (most of the content here is ripped from there)
- MIRROR 26688 ("Tweedledee") - Richard K. Larson
- MIRROR 70369 ("Tweedledum") - Richard K. Larson
Although these sites also had some issues.
This site is meant to pull together the best information on the web, in addition to some of my own, to act as a supplement to the original instructions.
